Hacking the Windows XP password...

Well you can actually hack the windows XP password.There are a lot of procedure available,here are some of the popular methods....
1.If you have access to the machine ,then enter the safe mode and then the Administrator account ,You can then change the users password .Note that this method works only when the Administrator account does not have a password.
2.Another popular method is to Copy the SAM file in the C:\windows\system32\config and crack it on another system using third party cracking software like LCP .The SAM file is accesible by using a linux bootable cd .The SAM file can be copied to the pendrive at the the boot time using the linux bootable cd.NOTE :The SAM file cannot be accessed while you are using Windows.If you can install a software on the machine then install LCP on it and then run it to crack the XP password.
3.You can also use a linux distro called L0phtCrack to crack the windows password.This distribution has been designed the open source community and has a password cracking software .It is available free of cost on the sourceforge website.
4.The final solution which is really quick is to use a password reset utility such as the Active Password changer.It can be burned onto a CD or run from a pendrive.It will reset all the passwords for the available accounts.But this method is not the safest bet.
